So much so I detest whitening, similar so I prefer brightening. Whether your fair or wheatish or dark, you need to be bright and have that glow on your face, yes! The deepika padukone kinda glow .

I have been using these 2 things from a relatively new brand Johara Cosmetics (read about them here). I tried these for a good 4 weeks before writing this review.

This is my favourite out of both. The packaging is a normal pump type, which I prefer. One pump is sufficient for your full face and neck. The texture is medium and a bit draggy onto the skin to apply but soaks in within few seconds and gives me a soft and supple skin with slight glow. Though my face does turn bit oily by the end of the day but its ok, its same with every moisturizer I use. Over the usage of 4 weeks, it has definitely brightened my complexion and my face has that subtle glow as well. I do not have much discoloration onto the skin so can’t say about even ness but brightening I can definitely vouch for. Best suited for normal to combi skin gals. Can be bit too much for oily skin in summers. It has SPF 20 so a sunscreen can be missed when wearing this. Also its sulphate, paraben and formaldehyde free and thus suited for sensitive skinned beauties also. I have myself, pretty sensitive skin to begin with but it never broke me out.

It’s a clay based rinse off mask targeted to reduce oil and brighten the skin. It comes in a screw top squeezy tube. The packaging is fine but because of the texture of the mask, its really a task to squeeze the mask out of the tube. IMO a tub with a spatula would have been better. The mask is white in color and spreads well onto skin. Dries within 15-20 mins.

Upon washing, it gives the skin a soft glow but sadly the same is short termed and vanishes by the next morning. It is a good ‘before the party’ mask as it hydrates and brightens at the same time and gives that instant brightness to the face. Might work if used consistently but am too lazy to use it 3-4 times a week.
