NYX Single Shadow in Black/Noir- Review

All of us here would know how difficult it is to find that perfect black eyeshadow which is pigmented, soft, blendable etc. etc. and it takes lot of effort, market research (waste of money on wrong purchases) 😛 to get your customized black eyeshadow. This is my first single eyeshadow and I have to admit that I have been stuck to this like a chumbak now! This is the perfect black eyeshadow I could get. My priced possession.

Since the time I have started my job, I have struggled with pesky dark circles. Whole day staring into the computer had initially taken a toll onto my eyes and I had become a human panda. I swear! I had.
Last year I had to attend a very very important wedding in a remote town and I knew I could not wear makeup the whole day so I had to do away with the dark circles. Almost a month to the wedding, I started using this eye mask daily before hitting the bed and I saw a major improvement in my under eye area with in 15 days. Not only the under eye area looked lighter but also well rested and less puffy.
Nowadays, I am not that regular with this but I know, as soon as I’ll have another important event, m gonna begin with this for sure.

As you all might know by now, I am a corporate lawyer by profession. My job requires me to sit before laptop for around 7-8 hours daily vetting agreements, drafting new ones etc. etc. So much so I love my job, I equally hate the demerits I get along and one of those is my pesky dark circles. While in college I did used to get dark circles, but they usually subsided with my DIY eye pack (coming soon for you guys) but now because of my job, I am too lazy to follow the pack routine daily and thus have to go with panda eyes. Now here comes the concealer to my rescue. It easily takes me from a panda to fairy in few seconds.

This was the first concealer I bought, though I did not know earlier how to use it right way but now that I do, m loving it.

After the rimmel blue eyeliner disappointed me (read review here) I was on look out for a similar blue color but without any smudging and travelling to lower lids. L’oreal launched this blue eyeliner in its Cannes’15 collection alongwith 1 more sapphire blue color and as soon as I saw its swatches online, I knew I had to get it.

This eyeliner is very close to my heart as I got it on Friendship’s day and thus is a special friend for me.

Before you guys start thinking that OMG why is this girl using anti-aging creams, she is so young. Let me tell you something.I have had lines around my eyes since ages now! Yeah! I don’t know why and no matter whatever I do, I just don’t even see much improvement therein. But I religiously use eye creams so that the lines don’t get in any deeper.

In the past I have tried various eye creams-both medicated and cosmetics one. I generally get bored with eye creams so everytime I finish 1, I shift to another one.

The eye cream I am going to talk about today is from L’oreal Paris’s new laser range. Let’s see how this fared for me.

I have always had scarce brows since beginning but never really tried any eyebrow pencil/powder. Once, in school time I did use black pencil on my brows and scared everyone around (yeah! I actually did look scary). Years later, now, thanks to this world of beauty blogging and youtube gurus I learned the technique of filling the eyebrows and the golden rule thereof. GOLDEN RULE is- don’t ever ever fill your brows with black pencil/powder. It looks very stark and into the face type. Always use- light brown if you’re fair and dark brown if you’re medium or above, it look very natural and not at all made up. So this was the gyaan of the day.
